Before this goes live: this is a plain-language starting template, not legal advice — it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer. These terms cover using the Sree Kolathur Cafe website — browsing the menu, ordering food, and booking the party hall. By using this site or placing an order/booking through it, you agree to them.

Ordering food

The menu shown is time-window based — only items the kitchen is currently serving are available to order. What's on offer can change without notice.
Prices are set by the café and may change at any time; the price you're charged is the one shown at checkout.
You choose dine-in or pickup at the time of ordering. For dine-in, please give a table number if you have one; for pickup, please arrive around the time the order would reasonably be ready.
Please double-check your order (items, quantities, notes) before paying — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens once an order is placed.

Booking the party hall

The hourly rate, minimum/maximum booking length, and available hours are set by the café and shown on the booking page at the time you book.
A booking is confirmed once payment is completed and the ticket is issued — it isn't held or reserved before that.
Please arrive within your booked window; the hall is booked out by other parties before and after you, so we can't guarantee flexibility outside it.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay (card, UPI, netbanking, UPI QR) or, where offered, by direct UPI transfer. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, or netbanking login — that's handled entirely by Razorpay. Direct UPI payments are checked manually by the café before an order/booking is treated as paid, so there may be a short delay compared to a card/UPI-gateway payment.

Your ticket

After paying, you'll get a downloadable ticket (PDF or PNG) with your booking/order details. You can also look it up again later on the Find My Ticket page using the booking/order ID and the phone number you gave — that page also lets you remove your personal details from our records if you'd like to.

Accuracy of the information you give us

Please make sure your name, phone number, and (if given) email are correct — we use these to confirm your booking/order, reach you if there's a problem, and let you look up or delete your ticket later. We're not responsible for a booking/order going wrong because of incorrect contact details.

What we're not responsible for

We'll do our best to honour every booking and order as described, but we're not liable for delays or issues caused by things outside our reasonable control — power or network outages, extreme weather, or problems on Razorpay's or another third party's side. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that can't be excluded by these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown on the site is the one that applies. Significant changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts serving Tamil Nadu.
